Caught by fellow Bristol Bay fisherman Kiril Basargin, these fresh buttery, ultra-firm fish are otherworldly! Pan sear for 3-5 minutes skin side down and then 3 minutes on the flesh side and you are in for a butter treat that has three times as omega-3s as salmon!!!
FYI, Sablefish are also known as Black Cod (even though they have no relation to cod) and Butterfish.
