- Heat a heavy-bottomed/non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
- Place cod in heated pan.Cook uncovered, 3-4 minutes, until bottom is lightly browned.
- Flip; season fish.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook covered, 5-6 minutes.
- When finished, cod should be opaque throughout and flake easily with a fork.

Directions
Remove fish from the vacuum-sealed package and rinse under cold water; gently pat dry with a paper towel.
Brush both sides of the fillet with a high-oleic oil such as olive, canola, peanut, grapeseed, soy, or safflower oil.
Heat a heavy-bottomed or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Place the fish in the hot pan and cook uncovered for 3–4 minutes, until the underside is lightly browned.
Flip the fillet, season as desired, and reduce heat to medium.
Cover and continue cooking for 5–6 minutes.
When done, the fish should be opaque throughout and easily flake apart with a fork.
