What are the ingredients?
All our smoked products use very simple ingredients. The main ingredients are salmon/sablefish, salt, sugar, hardwood smoke. The jerky also includes black pepper. The spreads also include cream cheese and olive oil. That's it. There are no other ingredients!
Is the fish farm-raised or wild-caught?
ALL our salmon is wild-caught by the Owens family and other small boat fishers in Bristol Bay, Alaska. Bristol Bay has the largest wild salmon run in the world and 100% of the salmon here are naturally producing in Bristol Bay's glacial lakes, rivers and tributaries.
ALL our sablefish are pot-caught in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska.
Are these smoked products skin-on or skin-off?
All our smoked products are skin-off except of smoked salmon portions.
Are your smoked products cooked and ready to eat?
Yes! All our smoked products come ready to eat. All you have to do is put them in the refrigerator to let them thaw overnight.
How do you ensure your products remain frozen during shipment?
We use insulated shipping containers packed with enough dry ice to keep your salmon frozen solid until it arrives at your door. We ship all orders to arrive within the timeframe required to ensure quality. If, for any reason, your fish arrives warm and the dry ice is completely gone, please contact Capt Luke immediately. We offer a replacement guarantee for any product that does not arrive frozen and in excellent condition.
How is it packaged and shipped?
All orders are packed in environmentally responsible (compostable or recyclable) insulation, recyclable packaging, and on dry ice.
We ship early in the week to ensure proper delivery timing. Orders ship Monday–Wednesday and typically arrive Tuesday–Thursday (Friday only in rare delays). If shipping this week would result in a weekend delivery, your order will ship the following week.
